3. Notification of intention of regulating marketing of notified agricultural produce in specified area. (1) Upon a representation made by local authority or by the growers of any agricultural produce within the area for which a market is proposed to be established or otherwise, the State Government may, by notification, and in such other manner as may be prescribed, declare its intention to

"retail sale' in relation to a notified agricultural produce means a sale not exceeding such quantity as may be prescribed and the term "retailer" shall be construed accordingly".
5. Subs. by MP 26 of 1987 [1.6.87] for the following:
"trader" means a person who in his normal course of business buys or sells any notified agricultural produce, and includes a person engaged in processing of agricultural produce."
